HALIFAX – Halifax police have cleared the scene of a death in an apartment they now say is not suspicious.
Halifax Regional Police say they responded to the apartment on Leppert Street shortly after 7:30 a.m. Monday.

When officers arrived, they found the body of a 69-year-old man. Police were originally treating the death as suspicious.
An autopsy will be performed later on Monday.
