HALIFAX – A teenager faces minor injuries after being struck by a bus in Halifax.
Just after 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, two pedestrians were crossing the street in a marked crosswalk near 7000 Mumford Road.
A Metro Transit bus was turning right onto Mumford Road from the bus terminal when a 17-year-old woman was struck in her upper body by the front of the bus.

The pedestrians called police after returning to their residence.
There is no word yet on whether the driver faces any charges.
“That will depend on the investigation. The investigation will continue this evening and we’ll get statements from everyone involved and see where it goes from there,” he said.
This latest incident comes as a rash of pedestrian-vehicle collisions sweeps through the Halifax area.
Police are asking motorists and pedestrians to be vigilant.
“That’s an obvious concern for us: anytime we have a pedestrian-vehicle accident. They’re taken very seriously and we’re trying to come up with ways to reduce them,” said McCoombs.
