Philips goLITEBLU helps typical SAD winter blues

Have you been feeling the winter blues lately? Sure, the days are getting longer but it’s still cold as ever so if you feel irritable and lazy (one too many naps?) then check out the Philips goLITEBLU, a portable blue LED light designed to top off the lack of energizing daylight light we humans don’t seem to get enough of this time of the year.

The goLITEBLU is portable and comes with a travel pouch. hand out

The specially designed LED light panel has four different intensity settings and is free of UV light, yet when used properly and frequently (once a day) it stimulates the eye’s peripheral photoreceptors. You simply put it off to the side on a table while you are having breakfast or computing, within a viewing angle, so it’s not necessary to look straight into it.

You can also adjust intensity and how long the light is on for.

The LED lights are good for 10,000 hours, typically, a daily treatment for 50 years and a battery charge on the goLITEBLU is good for four sessions.

It comes with a handy soft case to take it along for long trips or extended visits away from home.
