TORONTO — UK pop group One Direction debuted the video for “Midnight Memories” on Friday.
It’s the title track from their latest studio album, which has already spawned the hit single “Story of My Life.”
Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik are featured in the new video at a house party before hitting London for some late-night fun. Along the way they drop by a kebab shop, ride on mobility scooters, steal a police boat to zip along the Thames and sing atop Tower Bridge.

The song, co-written by Tomlinson and Payne (with three others) has been compared to the classic rock song “Pour Some Sugar On Me” by another British group, Def Leppard.
Guitarist Phil Collen denied reports that the band was taking legal action against One Direction.
“That is very flattering that all of a sudden these kids think it’s a cool sound,” he said. “I think a lot of people of their generation aren’t going to connect their music to ours. It’s all good.”
One Direction will support Midnight Memories with a tour that kicks off its North American leg on Aug. 1 at Toronto’s Rogers Centre.
