HALIFAX – Nova Scotia RCMP say a man involved in a single vehicle crash on Highway 207 in the Halifax area is in critical condition.
Police said in an earlier news release the man had died.
In a subsequent news release, the Mounties said initial reports suggested the man succumbed to injuries from the 10:35 a.m. crash in the community of Seaforth.
The RCMP say paramedics later noticed a pulse as the man was being taken to Dartmouth General Hospital.
The 50-year-old man has been transferred to QE II Health Sciences Centre in Halifax for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
Police say a passenger in the vehicle was treated for injuries and released.
