Police search for suspects in North End shooting

WINNIPEG – Police searched a North End neighbourhood for four men after another man was shot Thursday evening.

Officers, the canine unit and emergency crews were called to the 600 block of Magnus Avenue just after 8 p.m.

A man was shot in his upper body and was taken to hospital in stable condition, police said.

Police blocked off Manitoba Avenue at McKenzie Street and seemed to focus on a home in the 700 block of Manitoba.

Officers are investigating.
