REGINA – A Regina-born punter with the Seattle Seahawks says he’s humbled by the show of love he’s getting from his hometown in advance of Sunday’s Superbowl.

Jon Ryan will be the first athlete from Saskatchewan to play in the big game when his team takes on the Denver Broncos.
A flag in honour of Ryan and the Seahawks was hoisted at Regina City Hall this week.
His brother, Steve, attended the ceremony and said Ryan is very proud of being from Regina.
