Tim Blake Nelson is an actor, writer, director and producer.
Nelson has appeared in more than 30 feature films, including "The Incredible Hulk," "Meet the Fockers," "Syriana," "Donnie Brasco," "Minority Report," "The Thin Red Line," "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?" and "The Good Girl."
His most recent feature film directing endeavor is "Leaves of Grass," which he also wrote, co-produced and played a supporting role. His additional directing credits include "The Grey Zone," which he wrote, "O," which earned Nelson a Best Director Award at the 2001 Seattle Film Festival, and "Eye of God," based on a play he wrote.
On stage, he appeared in "Beard of Avon," as William Shakespeare, "Oedipus," "Troilus and Cressida, "Les Bourgeois Avant-Garde," "Mac Wellman’s Dracula" and "Twelfth Night," among others.
Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Nelson is a graduate of Brown University and the Julliard Theater Center. He lives in New York City with his wife and three children. His birth date is May 11.
