HALIFAX – A fire has destroyed a high-end bed and breakfast on the shores of Porter’s Lake, N.S.
Fire officials were called to A-1 Lakeview Executive Bed and Breakfast around 7 p.m. on Thursday. By the time they arrived at the building on West Porter’s Lake Road, it was completely engulfed in flames.

The owners were out of town at the time of the fire, so no one was inside, said a neighbour.
Fire officials have yet to determine what sparked the blaze.
