Minor injuries after collision between car and empty school bus

REGINA – Two people have been sent to hospital with minor injuries after a car and a school bus collided Wednesday afternoon in northwest Regina.

The collision occurred just after 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of 9th Avenue North and McIntosh Street.

The empty school bus was turning south in the westbound land of 9th Avenue when it collided with an eastbound Dodge Neon.

The driver and passenger of the Dodge Neon were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The 78-year-old driver of the school bus was charged with failing to yield when turning left.
