The Kelowna Chiefs took on the Princeton Posse of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League on Tuesday night.
The teams faced off at Rutland Arena for game seven of the division semi-final.
At one point in the series, the Chiefs trailed Princeton three games to one.
The game was tied 4 – 4 after the second period.
After the Posse’s Adrian Coulter took a tripping penalty, the Chief’s Tanner Clarkson scored, giving Kelowna a 5 – 4 lead halfway through the third.
As time dwindled, the Posse pulled their goalie, and with 15 seconds left in regulation, the Chief’s Jordan Salahor put one in the empty net.
The Chiefs win the game 6 – 4.
