  • 2010 5000-metre Relay Olympic Champion.
  • 2010 500-metre World Silver Medallist.

Interesting Fact: Often cast in the shadow of his incredibly successful brother Charles, Francois has proven himself capable of great things, as well. He reached the podium, claiming silver at the 2010 World Championship 500-metre event; in that same race, Charles finished 4th.

Chances: Not an overwhelming favourite like his brother is, but is a part of the dynamic Canadian 5000-metre relay team that is poised to be standing on the podium once again in Sochi.
