TORONTO – The Toronto Zoo’s polar bear cub has taken his first bath.

Just last week, we published a short story about the same polar bear taking its first steps. At the time, we wrote the video “will likely be the cutest video of a polar bear cub you see today.”
That statement holds true now.
The cub, yet to be named, is in a small white tub being hand bathed by a veterinarian. The cub tries hard to escape from the confines of its watery jail but fails. Just before the video ends, it seems to try and take a bite out of the tub.
One commenter on YouTube was able to sum up the thoughts of many, writing “absolutely adorable! You all have such wonderful jobs.”
The polar bear cub, born Nov. 9 2012, is kept in a permanently air conditioned room and receives upwards of six bottles of milk each day. Last week he weighed just 4.4 kilograms.
