Charges have been laid against the former owners of 64 abused dogs from the Gull Lake area.
Last July, dozens of starved and sick dogs were seized by animal protection officers from a property near Gull Lake.
Following an investigation, the Office of the Chief Veterinary Officer says Peter and Judith Chernecki face nineteen charges under the Animal Care Act.
They’re scheduled to appear in provincial court March 3rd.
