Residents in North Sumatra continue to be evacuated as the eruption of Mount Sinabung continues in Indonesia.
The volcanic ash travelled about 5 km to the southeast and south-southwest, forcing the evacuations of several nearby towns after layers of dust and ash descended on homes.
Mount Sinabung reawakened in 2010 after hundreds of years of inactivity.
The Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB), which is the national board for disaster management in the country, reported that at least 26,000 people have been displaced due to the continued eruption. Earthquakes continue to rattle the region.
