Wine and Dine Festival kicks off in Kelowna

January can be a notoriously slow time in the restaurant business.

After a holiday season of socializing, people are ready to just stay home, but for the 12th year in a row the BC Restaurant and Food Services Association is doing its best to entice you out to dinner with three-course menu selections, low prices and BC wine pairing suggestions.

It’s the 2014 Wine and Dine Festival and it kicked off in Kelowna tonight.

Wine and Dine Thompson/Okanagan is a 17 day event in which restaurants showcase three course prix fixe dinners for $15, $25 or $35.
