Vancouver high school evacuated after two students pepper sprayed

Windermere High School was evacuated Friday afternoon after two girls were pepper sprayed, according to Vancouver police.

Const. Brian Montague said it was a targeted assault against the two high school students, but several others were affected by the spray.

The students received medical treatment to decontaminate themselves from the spray.

Police canvassed the school to ensure there were no other hazards to students or staff.

A person of interest in the attack has been identified, however police said they haven’t had the opportunity to speak with them.
