Toronto’s Pearson International Airport was so badly backlogged that it imposed a “ground stop” – no flights were allowed into the airport – until 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday. Frozen equipment and safety issues for staff were cited as the reasons.
Travellers are advised to contact their airlines for flight information.
