Edmonton senior with dementia found safe after being reported missing

The Edmonton Police Service said Friday morning that an 86-year-old man previously reported missing had been found safe.

The senior was last seen at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the area of 31st Avenue and 106th Street. He was on foot, carrying two green reusable shopping bags.

He has dementia and police and family were worried about his welfare.
