MONTREAL – Police in Quebec say carbon monoxide poisoning is believed to be the cause of three deaths in a chalet close to Sept-Iles
Authorities found two men and a woman on Monday afternoon after being alerted by a worried neighbour.

A heating system was found in the chalet and provincial police spokesman Richard Gagne says it is “highly possible” that a gas leak led to the deaths.
An investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of death.
