An extravagant Christmas light display at a home in central Alberta is illuminating the night sky for just a few more days.
Alfred and Cheryl von Hollen have been decorating their home in Rocky Mountain House with thousands of lights for the past few years.

It’s so bright, it’s been said you can see the display from space.
The von Hollen’s say this year presented some extra difficulties, because the lights always had to be dug out from the snow.
They say they will take a break next year, and the final time they’ll turn on the lights will be 2015.
Their address is 5725 57 Street Close in Rocky Mountain House, located about two and a half hours from Calgary.
The lights are on until this Saturday (December 28th) from 5:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. except the 24th and 25th when they will be on until people stop coming by.
