It is a chance for the best in the business to come together, and this weekend, the Grand Slam of Curling is descending on the North Okanagan.
Some of the biggest names in the sport will be in attendance, such as Olympic gold medalist Kevin Martin.
The line-up is a who’s who of curling royalty; four time world champion Randy Ferbey has teamed up with 2006 Olympic gold medalist Brad Gushue.
Current world champion Kevin Koe, former Brier winner Glenn Howard and Vernon’s Jamie Danbrook will also participate.
The curlers are vying for a $100,000 prize and Olympic qualifying points.
The event features two draws Thursday evening and four draws on Friday.
The playoffs will be held Saturday afternoon, with the final taking place Sunday morning.
