Warmer temperatures in store for Saskatoon

SASKATOON – Warmer temperatures are in store for Saskatoon and much of Saskatchewan.

Sunday marks the fourth straight day of the mercury sitting below minus 20 during the day with wind chills in the minus 30 range.

The high in Saskatoon is expected to reach minus 26 today and dip to minus 33 overnight.

The warming trend will start on Monday when the temperature will rise to minus 11. That will continue into Tuesday when the expected high should reach minus 7.

Christmas Day will be colder, with the temperature only reaching minus 19 before above seasonal temperatures move in for the remainder of the week.

The normal temperatures for this time of year are highs of minus 9 with overnight lows of minus 19.
