One man is in life-threatening condition after a rollover in southeast Calgary on Tuesday afternoon.
According to an EMS spokesperson, the crash happened at Macleod Trail and Stoney Trail Southeast just after 4 p.m.
Calgary police said a 2005 waste disposal truck driven by a 50-year-old man was driving on the ramp from northbound Macleod Trail Southeast to Stoney Trail Southeast when it crossed the shoulder onto the grassy median.
The truck then hit a light pole and the support wall of the above bridge deck.
The truck rolled and ended up on its roof, according to police.
The Calgary Police Service said the driver was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition and the traffic unit is investigating the incident.
Speed, drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors, according to the CPS.
