Winnipeg city councillors will find out Monday the details of the plan to save the troubled football stadium project.
The plan to put a 33,000 seat stadium at the University of Manitoba has been in limbo since it became clear costs would far exceed the $115-million first agreed upon – and will likely reach the $190-million plateau.
City councillors have been told to assemble at noon Monday for a briefing on the football stadium.
The city, province, Winnipeg Blue Bombers and U of M are the main players in the deal.
