TORONTO – The days of mild temperatures are a thing of the past in southern Ontario.
After enjoying near-seasonal temperatures (or higher) for the past month, temperatures dipped down to -9 C overnight, with a high of just -6 C for Tuesday.
The normal daytime high for Toronto is 2 C. The normal low is -5 C.
Temperatures across southern Ontario over the next few days will continue to be below average with highs near -6 C until Friday.
And that’s when things start to get messy.

If you’re a skier or enjoy the snowy outdoors, however, you’ll enjoy what’s in store: snow.
North of the GTA, in cottage country, snow squalls have persisted since the weekend. Areas like Bracebridge could see more than 40 cm of accumulation by Thursday.
Further south, in Toronto, the snow will start on Friday with the possibility of about 10 cm by Saturday.
