TORONTO — Siva Kaneswaran of British pop group The Wanted is engaged to his longtime girlfriend Nareesha McCaffrey.
The 25-year-old “I Found You” singer popped the question at a surprise birthday party she tried to throw for him last month.

“I said to her I wanted a present I would always remember this year by – for you to be my wife,” Kaneswaran told the UK edition of Hello! magazine.
He proposed with a custom-designed three-carat diamond solitaire ring.
“I’d bought the ring months before I’d been trying to figure out the right time. I love her, I love every bit of her.”
Kaneswaran and McCaffrey, a shoe designer, have been together for six years.
The Wanted is known for hits like “Glad You Came” and “Chasing The Sun.”
