A wind warning was issued Saturday for Calgary and Rocky View County, with gusts expected to reach up to 90 km/h throughout the day.
According to the alert issued by Environment Canada, winds from the west could strengthen throughout the day and continue into the evening.

The alert said damage to buildings, such as roof shingles and windows, may occur and loose objects may be tossed by the wind causing injury or damage.
