Halifax Regional Police are investigating a fatal early morning fire in Dartmouth.
Fire crews were called to a structure fire on Portland Street just after 4 a.m. Thursday.

According to police, a man was found dead inside one of the apartments.
Police note the investigation is in its early stages and are asking anyone with information to call (902) 490-5020 or Crime Stoppers.
