Calgary police are looking for a driver believed to be involved in a hit-and-run in the early hours of Saturday, Oct. 21.
According to a Calgary Police Service release, police responded to reports of a collision at around 12:50 a.m. in the 300 block of 10th Avenue Southwest.

Police said a 19-year-old man was crossing the street when a person driving a dark-coloured sedan west on 10th Avenue struck the pedestrian.
The man was knocked to the ground and later transported to hospital with serious injuries. The driver did not remain at the scene.

Police said the dark-coloured sedan is believed to be a BMW 3 series or similar. A photo of the suspect vehicle was not provided.
