RiverFest is a FREE family-friendly festival from Sept 20 – 24 hosted by the Fraser River Discovery Centre in New Westminster. RiverFest celebrates the living, working Fraser River as part of BC and World Rivers Day.

- Inside the FRDC – the Family Fun Zone
- On the Boardwalk – enjoy live music from Tamami Maitland Trio, Mozaico Flamenco, Kutapira, Coastal Wolfpack ; Outdoor Exhibitor Expo & Arts Council of New Westminster; and the Samson V Museum
- On the River – Lucille Johnstone Workboat Parade
- At Sapperton Landing Park – Vancouver Wooden Boat Society open house and wooden boat display at
