Arts in the Garden is returning for its 24th year, with over 75 participating artists, musicians, and performers in the thirteen garden spaces across the North Shore.
Arts in the Garden is an opportunity to connect with nature through the arts. It is a celebration of creativity, featuring visual and performing arts engaged with an inspired by nature and place. The gardens will feature visual artists leading art activities and demonstrations, live music, and an array of natural landscapes. Eight special performances throughout the weekend will include dance, movement art, spoken world poetry, and a cappella, with several site-specific performances responding directly to and environment. Some gardens will be offering workshops and information sessions regarding sustainable gardening, gardening in small spaces, and exploring our relationship to place.
