COMMUNITY AWARDS ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS The District of West Vancouver is accepting nominations for its Community Awards Program. The awards recognize the efforts and commitments made by individuals and groups to build a stronger community and enhance our quality of life through volunteerism, achievement, acts of heroism or philanthropy. Nominations will be received until Wednesday, May 10 at 4:30 p.m. in five categories: Arts & Culture, Community Commitment, Environment, Heritage and Health, Wellness & Activity. Nominations are currently being accepted online at the Community Awards website. Paper nominations are also accepted and are available at Municipal Hall or you can use the file attached. The awards will be presented at a ceremony in the evening on Tuesday, June 20 at the Kay Meek Arts Centre.
