Join Covert Farms Family Estate as the Route 97 Culture Road Trip Series arrives in Oliver on Monday, September 12 for a performance to remember by Raincity. This Vancouver-based, Rage-Funk band is fronted by female leads on saxophone and vocals, with the five members combining their eclectic influences of Moon Hooch, Amy Winehouse, Queen, and Rage Against the Machine. They have performed more than 300 shows since their inception, including numerous pride events, and opened for acts such as Our Lady Peace, Bif Naked, and Five Alarm Funk The Route 97 Culture Road Trip series is designed to foster Canadian talent while promoting the BC Interior Route 97 Highway from Penticton to Salmon Arm as a touring corridor, with a mandate to further develop the region’s landscape in both events and music artist development by creating opportunities in both performance and professional development.
