The Friends of Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park Society are hosting a free, fall event. The Friends are a non-profit charity of volunteers who work in support of BC Parks to protect the environmental integrity of KLPP and to educate and provide safe opportunities for others. A Guided Hike for Seniors is offered on Sunday, October 10, from 1:00-3:15pm, rain or shine. If you are 55+, of reasonable mobility and fitness, this is a guided, easy paced hike to explore the magnificence of the quiet fall season in Kalamalka Provincial Park. Attendees will receive the Park Trail Map/Brochure, information on the Park’s history along with education on important safety tips and Park etiquette. We will split into appropriate sized groups, each with a guide to allow ample time for questions, photos and appreciating the magnificence of the Park.
