The Calgary Icebreaker Polar Dip is a rare combination of exhilaration and camaraderie, all for a very important cause. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have had to reimagine this event… enter the #11SecondIceDip!
Almost everyone has access to a bathtub; almost everyone is on social media in some way; and if we challenge one another to do the 11 Second Ice Dip in the tub (or wherever you choose to dip into the cold) we can raise some serious funds in the fight against human trafficking!
Take the #11SecondIceDip Challenge today:
1)Text the word FREEDOM to 20222 to automatically donate $10 to the SAFoundation; an organization that provides long-term housing, recovery and skills programs to women who have escaped being trafficked into sexual exploitation.
2)Take an ice bath for 11 seconds!
3) Post your picture or video on FB: 11SecondIceDip group or on IG: @calgaryicebreaker (use the #11SecondIceDip) and you will be entered into the draws for weekly prizes. Become a Champion for Freedom!
