Jump into watercolour-based multimedia! In this course, participants will explore a variety of mediums and techniques, using pencil, ink, watercolour and gouache to create stunning images of birds. The course will be divided into four evening classes, and participants will dive into each medium separately before combining them in the final class. This is a beginner- to intermediate-level class and is available to anyone ages 12 and over. The content is ideal for anyone who likes to draw but is unsure on how to get started when it comes to different mediums, or for someone who wants to get a little taste of what else is out there! The course will focus on images of birds, but participants are more than welcome to work on their own projects. A supply list will be provided, and participants will need to bring their own supplies, but for some of the techniques, the instructor will bring in specialty items for participants to use.
