The Esprit de Choeur women’s choir, under the direction of Valdine Anderson, presents its annual holiday concert The Darkest Midnight in December on Sunday, December 8th at 7 pm at Crescent Fort Rouge United Church, 525 Wardlaw Avenue. Share a spirited evening of choral music that sets off the season of light featuring Canadian composer Kelly Marie Murphy’s title work and Hodie Christus Natus Est. The concert also includes seasonal works by Trotta, Conte, Dan Forrest and original arrangements by Ed Henderson and Peter Hunt. The choir welcomes pianist Renate Rossol and percussionist Paul Klassen for this performance.
