5th annual Hamilton Arts Week

As we celebrate our 50th year, the Hamilton Arts Council is pleased to present the 5th annual Hamilton Arts Week taking place June 14 to 21st. With more than 100 artists, performers and venues, Arts Week aims to recognize and celebrate our vital and vibrant arts community, bringing together the collaborative spirit and common values of many dedicated people.

The excitement begins with the James Street Art Crawl on Friday evening and an EPIC Launch Party in the Cotton Factory courtyard the next day (June 15) with the FREE Art Bus Shuttle. Supported in part by the City of Hamilton, Arts Week will expand this year to include an Indigenous Music Series thanks to an Ontario Arts Council Music Presentation grant.

We must acknowledge the generous support of the many folks who see the vision of the Hamilton Arts Council as we work to nurture artists, grow audiences and celebrate community. Whether good will comes in the form of a financial contribution, in-kind support, staff passion or volunteer commitment, it is the heart and soul of Hamilton that brings us all together for this week of recognizing the talent and effort that is present in our community, every week, not just during “Arts Week”.
