Over a decade ago, legendary singer/songwriter Barney Bentall launched what is now known as The Cariboo Express tour. Featuring some of Canada’s finest roots and country musicians, his one-of-a-kind fundraising event has raised $1 million so far in cities throughout Western Canada in support of local charities including Classroom Champions.This year’s concert is the 4th annual tribute to the late Peter Burgener, one of Calgary’s most influential architects, community activists, philanthropists and avid country music fans.
