The GRAMMY Award winning Mira Costa Orchestra hails from Manhattan Beach, Los Angeles. Celebrating its 16th year of existence, the Chamber Orchestra is one of four orchestral ensembles at Mira Costa High School, and is comprised of select advanced string musicians. Under the direction of Mr. Peter Park, they have performed at world-renowned venues such as the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Carnegie Hall, and the Shanghai Oriental Arts Center. Tonight, it adds the Bella Concert Hall to that esteemed list. The Mira Costa Orchestra will be joined by the MRU Conservatory Sinfonia, Suzuki Talent Education Society, Bishop Carroll’s Virtuosi Strings, Calgary Suzuki Strings Association and the Amici String Program.
