Each year the United Nations’ campaign, UNiTE to End Violence Against Women and Children invites governments, civil society organizations, and individuals to mark the 16 Days of Activism (November 25th to December 10th) by increasing awareness to end violence against women and girls. The UNiTE Campaign uses the colour ORANGE as a uniting them symbolizing a brighter future.
The year, the Grandmother’s Advocacy Network (GRAN) — Saskatoon and Business and Professional Women of Saskatoon are partnering to host the 2017 Orange Rally to launch the 16 days of Activism To End Violence Against Women And Girls.
