Operation Frozen Toes: Flashmob Fundraiser

What Are We Doing & Why: As many of you know, the holidays are a happy and cheerful time for all of us to come together and celebrate with good music, great company and delicious food! Unfortunately many families are not as lucky as we may be and struggle around the holidays with all of the extra costs to make ends meet. Many of us have been privileged enough to know comfort around these cold winter times and we at Made Talents want you to help us spread the warmth and love to families who don’t by joining us in our local charity fundraiser “OPERATION FROZEN TOES” for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank(GVFB)! The GVFB gets many food donations of frozen, canned and dry goods, however much of what it takes to make a delicious Christmas dinner doesn’t come out of a can! Our focus will be on raising monetary/cash donations to contribute FRESH and HEALTHY foods to families in this time of giving and celebration. Our cause will bring together what makes the holidays awesome for us, FOOD, MUSIC & COMMUNITY in a fun & festive flashmob! Each participant will be asked to collect donations to help contribute to the cause. There are many ways to get involved with us as we need volunteers to help as well as volunteers to dance! Won’t you join us and help guide our flashmob slay through Vancouver and into the hearts of our community? *PLEASE NOTE: All contributions, large and small, are ALL appreciated, there are no fundraising requirements to participate in this project. Volunteers do not need to attend every rehearsal and may learn the routines online as rehearsals will be streamed. It is suggested that volunteers come to one rehearsal in person before the dress rehearsal. All volunteers must be able to make the final dress rehearsal and performances on December 9, 2017!* Who: You, your mom, your best friend, your reindeer and EVERYONE who wants to dance, volunteer or contribute! How Are We Going to Accomplish This? Scheduled Rehearsals & Online Streaming – Practice our dance together and at home to get our routine ready to hit the streets! Collecting and/or Contributing Monetary Donations – Throughout the duration of preparing for our performance, participants and volunteers will collect contributions for the cause! Donations may also be made via e-transfer to madetalentsart@gmail.com FLASHMOB PERFORMANCE! – Create awareness for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank and collect donations during our Flash Performance from the awed crowd!
