4th Annual Chefs’ Charity Dinner

On Thursday, November 16, three of Metro Vancouver’s Top Chefs will create exquisite culinary masterpieces for 120 guests at the 4th Annual Chefs’ Charity Dinner at the prestigious Vancouver Club. Funds raised at the gala support Dan’s Legacy’s counselling and life-skills programs for youth affected by trauma-based mental health and addictions challenges. Chefs for this year’s event are Sean Cousins (The Vancouver Club), Dean Hossack (Nita Lake Lodge), and Shay Kelly (The Caterer). It’s an evening of delectable cuisine, music, lively auctions, and fun. Dan’s Legacy is thrilled to welcome back Fred Lee as the evening’s MC, and the charity will also unveil the launch of its new video “Passages”, in which three clients share their stories of addiction and recovery. “The gala is our signature fundraiser where we thank our supporters and community partners, and celebrate the achievements of our youth clients,” says Barbara Coates, Executive Director at Dan’s Legacy. “Our harm prevention programs have a 50% success rate in helping at-risk youth to stabilize and meet their educational, safe housing and life goals.
