To help celebrate their 50th Anniversary (1967-2017) in Hamilton, the Black Forest Inn is hosting the 1st Annual Oktoberfest in Downtown Hamilton. Our honoured guests will be Wolfgang Schoen & his wife Gabi, previous owners of the Black Forest Inn, Wolfgang and his family before him beginning the legacy in 1967 and making it the landmark it is today.
Located in the International Village – the celebrations will be taking place on Ferguson Street (which will be closed for the festivities) next to Black Forest Inn between King St. East and the International Village sound stage behind Theatre Aquarius.
Traditional German & Austrian music and food, local bands, local food and vendors will be on the bill all 4 days!

Location: Ferguson Street beside Black Forest Inn.
Ferguson Street will be closed for the festival from King St. East to the International Village sound stage behind Theatre Aquarius.
Picnic tables, vendors, beer stations (Ferguson St. has been licensed for the entirety of the festival) and the International Village sound stage (existing stage in municipal lot) will be set up on Ferguson St.
Black Forest Inn will be open for business regular hours during the festival, festivities will be taking place inside and outside of Black Forest Inn as well as on their patio.
Admission: FREE. Open to public.
Hours: Thurs. Oct 5th 1pm – 11:30pm
Fri Oct 6th & Sat Oct 7th 11:30am – 11:30pm
Sun Oct 8th 11:30am – 5pm
Ages: All ages all-day until 7pm every day. All ages all-day on Sunday.
19+ after 7pm every day, except Sunday (festival ends at 5pm).
Food: Black Forest Inn – Full Menu inside
Black Forest Inn – Oktoberfest Menu outside. Traditional pretzels w/ mustard, schnitzel on a bun.
The Fizz – BBQ Sandwiches
Forbidden City – Chicken balls, rice dishes.
Beverage: Erdinger is the official beer sponsor of this Oktoberfest.
Black Forest Inn – Full Drink Menu inside.
Outside – serving special Erdinger Oktoberfest brew outside (Ferguson Street has been licensed for the festival) from their outdoor Erdinger beer bar. Food/beverage tickets sold at outside ticket station.
