Red Deer’s 4th Annual Recovery Day

Come Support Recovery in Our Community! During the month of September, in cities across Canada, Canadians in recovery from addiction will join with friends and family to build awareness, challenge societal stigma, and celebrate the role that recovery plays in improving the lives of individuals, families, and communities. Recovery Saves Lives! Red Deer Recovery Day needs volunteers and support. We envision a world in which recovery from addiction is a common, celebrated reality – a world where individuals will not experience shame when seeking help. We are passionate about sharing our stories of recovery in the hope of inspiring others to join us on the rewarding yet diverse path to wholeness. Together we will demonstrate the power and proof of recovery from all types of addiction.Red Deer Recovery Days is a volunteer driven, charitable group in support of the Recovery community within Red Deer and surrounding areas. On September 9th Red Deer’s Recovery Day will be holding a community event to celebrate recovery from addictions, as well as educate and support those affected by such. Including inspirational speakers and performers, informational booths/ tables held by local agencies and organizations that provide services and ongoing support for those seeking help for their undesired addictive behaviors and mental health concerns within Red Deer and surrounding areas. Admission to the event is free but we will be accepting donations. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
