This March, take a trip down the aisle you’ll never forget; where wedding bells meet disco balls and every secret comes with a song! The Fireside Singers are beyond excited to bring you, MAMMA MIA! – an unforgettable musical filled with love, laughter, and groove. In this celebration of friendship and female empowerment, spirited bride Sophie Sheridan devises a clever plan to fulfill her greatest wish, discovering who she truly is. By secretly inviting three men from her mother’s mysterious past to her wedding, Sophie hopes to uncover the truth of her real father, believing it will make all of her dreams come true. But as the chorus of lies begins to catch up to her, Sophie is faced with having to decide what truly matters to her. Luckily she has the help of her friends, family, and of course, the incredible music of ABBA!
For over 50 years, The Fireside Singers have brought joy, magic, and musical memories to Saskatoon, and they cannot wait to continue that tradition with this full-scale musical theatre production. Under the inspired direction of Kelsey Stone, artistic director Marilyn Whitehead and orchestral director Bonnie Nicholson, this show promises “the time of your life” and is filled to the brim with excitement, fun, and heart!
