Ride for Refuge is a super-fun, family-friendly fundraising bike + walk in support of charities who serve people seeking hope, safety, and freedom. The local host is FOCAS Canada, a charity that provides resettlement services for newcomers to Canada. RIDE is a day when Canadians can declare their solidarity with the millions of people around the world who are seeking refuge AND take to the streets to make a difference! Participants can choose to walk a 2.5 or 5 km route or to bike a 10 or 20 km route. There will be a rest stop on the bike route and a celebration meal after.
