You are invited to The Lieutenant Governor’s Canada Day Celebration! Everyone is welcome on July 1st from 1-4 p.m. at Government House located at 4607 Dewdney Avenue in Regina. Fun for everyone with entertainment for all ages. There will be an exciting array of entertainment including The Western Senators with special guest Grammy winner, Polka King Walter Ostanek. Come out and enjoy some toe-tapping music. Also on the Main Stage: • Yevshan Ukrainian Folk Ballet Ensemble • Qu’Appelle Valley Dancers with Brian Sklar on the Fiddle • Boomtown Drummers Outdoor entertainment will include the ever-popular KAOS Dogsports, Storybook Princesses and Superheroes, HMCS Queen Bouncy Castle, Saskatchewan Science Centre Shows and face painting. The Canada Celebration is free of charge and there will be free popcorn and lemonade provided and other food and beverages available for purchase. Government House will be open to visitors with cultural exhibits, classical guitarists, an art show, and a collectibles sale.
