Sweetgrass blessings bag campaign

The SweetGrass Clan Blessing Bag Campaign is a deeply rooted initiative that seeks to extend a helping hand to our relatives living on the streets and facing hard times in the Downtown Eastside (DTES) of Vancouver. Our hearts are guiding us to gather essential items like socks, food that can be kept for a long time, and other important things to provide immediate help and comfort to those who walk a challenging path. Socks are especially important in our collection, as they bring warmth and protection to the feet during the cold times. We are also bringing together food that can last without spoiling and can nourish the body easily, keeping in mind the immediate needs of our community in the DTES. This campaign is a circle of care and compassion, drawing on the strength of our community values. Every person, local business, and group is welcome to share what they can. Every gift, no matter its size, is a powerful act of support, going straight to making and sharing these Blessing Bags with those who are facing tough days of homelessness and scarcity.
